The Chairman's Message

 

I would like to welcome you to LEMS Bahlool British International Schools - LBBIS, a wonderful, warm and inclusive family community, that places every child’s wellbeing, personal development and academic fulfilment at the heart of everything we do. Whilst we offer learning from Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 2 using the National Curriculum for England, we are fortunate enough to have a custom-made campus within a private complex. 

 

We build it in mind of developing enrichment, personal growth and instilling the love of learning in our students. Our Hodder textbooks in the primary level are endorsed by Cambridge education to ensure an academics consistency through to Cambridge exams in our upper years.  We wish to prepare every one of our students for whatever the future will hold for them.

With direct encouragement from a forward-thinking government, private sector education in Baghdad is growing to fill the ever popular needs to enhance learning in the Iraq population. 

 

We have positioned LBBIS in the direct path of this development by working with LEMS to ensure that every child in Baghdad who comes to us has the benefit of a first-class, academic education. Education is the heart- beatof a thriving society, and we are proud to be leading new developments in modern education.

After a lifetime in business in Iraq and abroad, I founded LBBIS because I believe that private enterprise in the field of education holds the key to the future of the world, we live in. I believe that quality education makes a difference and is the key to better future. The educational sector has seen a lot of improvements and the Bahlool British International Schools will play a major role in the educational change in Baghdad and Iraq.
