ABOUT THE SCHOOL

The (LEMS) Bahlool British International Schools - LBBIS, Baghdad is a recent entrant to the highly ambitious school sector in Iraq and Baghdad specifically. It is operated by the British educational organisation - LEMS.

LBBIS will follow the National Curriculum of England and is one the few schools in Baghdad that will follow this curriculum. LBBIS will welcome its first pupils in September 2021. Our campus is designed for boys and girls aged from 3 to 18. Initially, we will be accepting primary age pupils (age 3 -11), and the school will grow year by year to reach our full capacity.

Combining the culture and energy of Iraq, with the rich heritage and traditions derived from our close partnership with LEMS in the UK, standards and traditions that have stood the test of time, we are determined to become a world class school and a beacon of excellence where people matter, and the whole Bahlool community, pupils, staff and parents, work together to develop young people who are confident yet compassionate, courageous and curious.

LBBIS aims to develop open-minded, knowledgeable and nurturing young people who help to create a more peaceful world through international-mindedness and respect.

AN EXCEPTIONAL TEAM

Our exceptional teachers at LBBIS are carefully selected to meet the standards of a LEMS school, to create a unique learning environment and drive our Bahlool community to success.

Our teachers at LBBIS are made up of outstanding international educators with vision and drive. Their expertise and guidance are vital to inspire young minds, spark curiosity and promote a love of learning in and beyond the classroom.
